At the Motor Show in Brussels last week we spotted this fantastic Z4 35iS in a very exclusive Atacama yellow paint finish!

For those of you not up to date with the Design Pure Impulse package, a quick summary:

The interior is equipped with a instrument panel in black Alcantara and adorned with yellow stitching while the lower section of the dashboard is completely in yellow to compliment the door panelling in alcantara. The black sport seats are a Nappa leather/Alcantara combination, also fitted with yellow accent stitching and this in perfect harmony with the Piano Black finished interior trims. The roofliner is from the BMW individual range aswell and is finished in Anthracite.

The exterior has a very exclusive feel to it. The optional Atacama yellow paint is exclusively available with the Design Pure Impulse package. Other colors like Alpine White, Black, Black Sapphire, Titanium Silver and Space grey are available as well.

Hamann Motorsport has always been one of my favorite tuning companies. Now they introduce a brand-new program for the E89 BMW Z4.

Hamann replaced the front spoiler with a new one which places two LED day lamps and also added new convincing side skirts which give the Z4 an even lower and longer appearance. Hamann also added a brand-new exhaust system with four tailpipes. A new rear spoiler completes the overall impressive appearance.

Improvements on the sDrive35i engine also have been made which also lifts the 250 km/h limitation. Tweaking of the production control device increased the power to 365bhp and results in a top speed of 285 km/h.

The BMW Z4 E89 is already a great looking car but Hartge think they can do better with their new aerodynamic kit program.

The kit basicly includes only a new front spoiler and a hood lid lip which are supposed to offer increased downforce on both axles of the car.

New rimms are also fitted.

We heard the first rumors in Januari of the upcoming BMW Z4 GT3 and BMW Motorsport officially announced it in March while completing some test drives at the same time.

Fitted with a 4.0-liter V8 instead of six-cylinder like the ordinary Z4, the engine had a big influence on the development of the Z4 GT3. The engine is controlled by the all-new ECU408. This combined with a six-speed sequential gearbox and a quickshift function will make the Z4 GT3 to be a very competitive car in its class.
