The X1 xDrive20d by Hartge boasts 32 hp more than the standard X1 which enables it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds instead of 8.4 and increases the top speed by 11 km/h. For the sDrive20d the sprint goes in 6.9 seconds instead of 8.1 and the top speed rises to 229km/h.

The 4-cylinder already had a lot of torque available but thanks to the modifications from Hartge it rises from 350 to 415 Nm at 2000 rpm.

A suspension upgrade is also available, lowering the car by 30mm, for all xDrive models from 18d to 28i.

The Hartge classic 2 wheel for the X1 is also a beauty with the following dimensions: 9 x 20′ offset 33 with 245/30 ZR 20 at the front and 10 x 20′ offset 40 with 295/25 ZR 20 at the rear. Hartge recommends ContiSC-5, Pirelli Nero or the Michelin PS2 tyres.

We have seen a lot of kits from G-Power lately and I’m not a big fan of SUV tuning but I have to say I really like what they did for the X5M. The wheel arches give the X5M seven centimetres more width and this is necessary to make room for the extra-wide 23-inch black wheels and tyres.

G-Power did a real effort on details with the X5M Typhoon. For example, the sills on the Typhoon not only serve as aerodynamically efficient transitions but are also equipped with LED units which illuminate the ground on each side and an integrated G-Power logo on the upper surface in blue.

On the back the bumper is totally replaced to fit an impressive diffuser and two 114mm exhaust tailpipes.

G-Power also spent a lot of time on modifying the engine and they optimised many things like the connection pipes between the turbochargers to prevent thermodynamic losses and the outcome is an impressive additional 170hp which puts the total output over 725 hp and a torque of 890 Nm.

The interior has also been taken care of with new sport seats, an ergonomic sports steering wheel, custom speedometer and carbon fibre trim details.

The bodykit starts at EUR 12,185, the engine modifications at EUR 18,000 and the 23-inch wheel set including Michelin tyres for EUR 8,865.55

Onyx Concepts used to focus on tuning SUVs but these days they turn their attention away and they bring us an impression of the E92/E93 M3. The kit exists of a front and rear bumper, sideskirts, carbon fiber front lip and a carbon fiber diffuser on the rear. More carbon parts include a bonnet, boot lid and roof tip spoiler.

The interior is redone in bufallo hide leather available in different colors. The power has also been increased from the standard 420 hp to a whopping 630 hp. We don’t have many details on the specific changes but the numbers are impressive.

Enco Exclusive has been pretty big all over the world lately and they specialised in refining luxury vehicles. Their newest creation is based on the BMW X6 and is a complete kit for the exterior.

The kit is a widebody that gives the X6 a very brutal and sporty look. New front bumper with integrated daytime LEDs and three big intakes to improve the cooling of the engine and the front brakes. The rear doors have also been modified to flow seamlessly into the new rear bumper and rear fenders. A big diffuser on the rear bumper and four stainless steel tailpipes make the car even more impressive.

The kit is available for purchase at approx. EUR 15,000 incl. VAT.

We can see more and more tuning companies providing body styling and engine programs for the new BMW 5-series. Lumma Design introduced their CLR 500 RS based on the BMW F10. The package comes with a front bumper with integrated LED running lights, carbon fiber hood, new side skirts, carbon boot lid spoiler and a new rear skirt with an integrated diffuser.

The interior has been redone with the finest Nappa leather and carbon trim elements.

G-Power already broke the record for the world’s fastest sedan with their G-Power M5 Hurricane RS but now they raise the bar a bit and improve their record with the Hurricane RR. They reached a top speed of 367.4 km/h (228mph)

The G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RR has a power output of 800 hp / 588 kW and delivers a peak torque of 800 Nm at 5000rpm.

To achieve these extreme numbers, the twin supercharger system of the V10 has been redesigned. The two superchargers have been replaced by the larger ASA T1-316 units and are belt-driven. A theoretical power output of over 900 hp is possible so perhaps we will see them improve their record even further with this engine in the near future.

The G-Power kit is available for all current M5 and M6 models and starts at 56.000 euros excl. VAT.

This is something we really like. A tuning company that doesn’t mess up the looks from the BMW M3 and optimizes the car for trackday use. Excellent!

The Stoptech M3 has 30 horsepower extra over the standard M3 and the torque increases with 40Nm. New brakes come from Stoptech and have a 380mm discs in the front, 355mm at the rear.

The whole brake kit weighs 8 kg less than the original M3 brakes. Also the new rimms are 1,5kg lighter per piece which also makes another 6kg. A new KW-sport suspension is added for better handling.

The exhaust system is replaced with a titanium one from Akrapovic which makes up for another 23kg.

Less weight and more power. We like it.

Hamann is one of the most honored BMW tuning companies and I have to say they did do a great job with the BMW 5GT. Hamann introduced lowering kits for the 530d, the 535i and the 550i including air suspension. The product range includes a front spoiler which is actually an add-on for the standard spoiler, new side skirts and a subtle rear spoiler. A new rear apron is added to make room for the Hamann mufflers.

It wouldn’t be Hamann if they didn’t have an engine performance program aswell. The 530d gains 30 bhp making a total of 275bhp and 620Nm torque which is actually more than the 535d.

The E92 isn’t really what you call a modest car but Vorsteiner brings us an aero kit which we can only describe as completely mental.

The kit exists out of a front carbon fiber bumper, carbon fiber front fenders, carbon fiber side skirts, carbon fiber rear quarter panels and a carbon fiber rear bumper. Enough carbon fiber for you?

One of the nicer features is the front bumper with the replacable front splitter. This kit is trully meant as a racecar kit for the road.

Hamann Motorsport has always been one of my favorite tuning companies. Now they introduce a brand-new program for the E89 BMW Z4.

Hamann replaced the front spoiler with a new one which places two LED day lamps and also added new convincing side skirts which give the Z4 an even lower and longer appearance. Hamann also added a brand-new exhaust system with four tailpipes. A new rear spoiler completes the overall impressive appearance.

Improvements on the sDrive35i engine also have been made which also lifts the 250 km/h limitation. Tweaking of the production control device increased the power to 365bhp and results in a top speed of 285 km/h.
