<p>We have seen the Art car before but this is the first time we spotted it ourselves at the Motor Show in Brussels so we might aswell make a notice of it.</p>
<p><span id="more-594"></span>The first BMW Art car appeared in 1975 and was based on a BMW 3.0 CSL. Still one of our all-time favorite BMW&#8217;s.</p>
<p>The 2010 edition was designed by Jeff Koons and has a really remarkable paintjob. The Art car is based on the BMW M3 GT2 racing car and it participated in the 24 hours of Le Mans in april 2010 but due to mechanical failure they didn&#8217;t succeed in finishing. Better luck next time!</p>

<p>At the Motor Show in Brussels last week we spotted this fantastic Z4 35iS in a very exclusive Atacama yellow paint finish!</p>
<p><span id="more-581"></span>For those of you not up to date with the Design Pure Impulse package, a quick summary:</p>
<p>The interior is equipped with a instrument panel in black Alcantara and adorned with yellow stitching while the lower section of the dashboard is completely in yellow to compliment the door panelling in alcantara. The black sport seats are a Nappa leather/Alcantara combination, also fitted with yellow accent stitching and this in perfect harmony with the Piano Black finished interior trims. The roofliner is from the BMW individual range aswell and is finished in Anthracite.</p>
<p>The exterior has a very exclusive feel to it. The optional Atacama yellow paint is exclusively available with the Design Pure Impulse package. Other colors like Alpine White, Black, Black Sapphire, Titanium Silver and Space grey are available as well.</p>

<p>Just like with the new <a title="2012 BMW 1-Series Coupe" href="http://www.bmwtalk.net/2010/12/2012-bmw-1-series-coupe/" target="_blank">2012 BMW 1-series coupe</a>, the 2012 BMW 1-series convertible is available in 2 versions being the 128i and the 135i.</p>

<p>The features are pretty much the same as on the <a title="2012 BMW 1-Series Coupe" href="http://www.bmwtalk.net/2010/12/2012-bmw-1-series-coupe/" target="_blank">2012 BMW 1-series coupe</a>.</p>
<p>The 128i features elements from the BMW EfficientDynamics program like aluminium/magnesium construction and the throttle-less intake technology.</p>
<p>These features are available on the 135i aswell which is equiped with the new N55 3.0-liter engine. If you buy a 135i you might aswell think about having the 7-speed double clutch transmission which will help the 135i sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a scorching 5.3 seconds.</p>
<p>The updates will be available in the spring of 2011.</p>

<p>Personally I always loved the 1-series coupe. I drive a 3-series myself but there is just something about the 1-series coupe that I can&#8217;t explain. Last week BMW officially announced the 2012 BMW 1-series.</p>
<p><span id="more-554"></span>Currently only two versions are available with this update, the 128i Coupe and the 135i Coupe.</p>
<p>The 128i is powered by a 3.0-liter engine producing 230 bhp and features the BMW Valvetronic throttle-less intake technology and an aluminium/magnesium construction which are some of the core elements of the BMW EfficientDynamics program.</p>
<p>The 135i features the newest <a href="http://www.bmwtalk.net/2010/01/bmw-twinpower-turbo-3-0/" target="_blank">N55 engine</a> which is also a 3.0-liter inline-6 engine. The 135i can be equipped with the 7-speed double clutch transmission (DCT) which we&#8217;ve seen before on the new Z4 roadster.</p>

<p>The X1 xDrive20d by Hartge boasts 32 hp more than the standard X1 which enables it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds instead of 8.4 and increases the top speed by 11 km/h. For the sDrive20d the sprint goes in 6.9 seconds instead of 8.1 and the top speed rises to 229km/h.</p>

<p>The 4-cylinder already had a lot of torque available but thanks to the modifications from Hartge it rises from 350 to 415 Nm at 2000 rpm.</p>
<p>A suspension upgrade is also available, lowering the car by 30mm, for all xDrive models from 18d to 28i.</p>
<p>The Hartge classic 2 wheel for the X1 is also a beauty with the following dimensions: 9 x 20&#8242; offset 33 with 245/30 ZR 20 at the front and 10 x 20&#8242; offset 40 with 295/25 ZR 20 at the rear. Hartge recommends ContiSC-5, Pirelli Nero or the Michelin PS2 tyres.</p>

<p>We have seen a lot of kits from G-Power lately and I&#8217;m not a big fan of SUV tuning but I have to say I really like what they did for the X5M. The wheel arches give the X5M seven centimetres more width and this is necessary to make room for the extra-wide 23-inch black wheels and tyres.</p>
<p><span id="more-515"></span></p>
<p>G-Power did a real effort on details with the X5M Typhoon. For example, the sills on the Typhoon not only serve as aerodynamically efficient transitions but are also equipped with LED units which illuminate the ground on each side and an integrated G-Power logo on the upper surface in blue.</p>
<p>On the back the bumper is totally replaced to fit an impressive diffuser and two 114mm exhaust tailpipes.</p>
<p>G-Power also spent a lot of time on modifying the engine and they optimised many things like the connection pipes between the turbochargers to prevent thermodynamic losses and the outcome is an impressive additional 170hp which puts the total output over 725 hp and a torque of 890 Nm.</p>
<p>The interior has also been taken care of with new sport seats, an ergonomic sports steering wheel, custom speedometer and carbon fibre trim details.</p>
<p>The bodykit starts at EUR 12,185, the engine modifications at EUR 18,000 and the 23-inch wheel set including Michelin tyres for EUR 8,865.55</p>

<p>Onyx Concepts used to focus on tuning SUVs but these days they turn their attention away and they bring us an impression of the E92/E93 M3. The kit exists of a front and rear bumper, sideskirts, carbon fiber front lip and a carbon fiber diffuser on the rear. More carbon parts include a bonnet, boot lid and roof tip spoiler.</p>
<p><span id="more-508"></span>The interior is redone in bufallo hide leather available in different colors. The power has also been increased from the standard 420 hp to a whopping 630 hp. We don&#8217;t have many details on the specific changes but the numbers are impressive.</p>

<p>Enco Exclusive has been pretty big all over the world lately and they specialised in refining luxury vehicles. Their newest creation is based on the BMW X6 and is a complete kit for the exterior.</p>
<p><span id="more-495"></span>The kit is a widebody that gives the X6 a very brutal and sporty look. New front bumper with integrated daytime LEDs and three big intakes to improve the cooling of the engine and the front brakes. The rear doors have also been modified to flow seamlessly into the new rear bumper and rear fenders. A big diffuser on the rear bumper and four stainless steel tailpipes make the car even more impressive.</p>
<p>The kit is available for purchase at approx. EUR 15,000 incl. VAT.</p>

<p>We can see more and more tuning companies providing body styling and engine programs for the new BMW 5-series. Lumma Design introduced their CLR 500 RS based on the BMW F10. The package comes with a front bumper with integrated LED running lights, carbon fiber hood, new side skirts, carbon boot lid spoiler and a new rear skirt with an integrated diffuser.</p>
<p><span id="more-482"></span>The interior has been redone with the finest Nappa leather and carbon trim elements.</p>

<p>G-Power already broke the record for the world&#8217;s fastest sedan with their G-Power M5 Hurricane RS but now they raise the bar a bit and improve their record with the Hurricane RR. They reached a top speed of 367.4 km/h (228mph)</p>
<p><span id="more-468"></span>The G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RR has a power output of 800 hp / 588 kW and delivers a peak torque of 800 Nm at 5000rpm.</p>
<p>To achieve these extreme numbers, the twin supercharger system of the V10 has been redesigned. The two superchargers have been replaced by the larger ASA T1-316 units and are belt-driven. A theoretical power output of over 900 hp is possible so perhaps we will see them improve their record even further with this engine in the near future.</p>
<p>The G-Power kit is available for all current M5 and M6 models and starts at 56.000 euros excl. VAT.</p>
